Companions
Many of the animals I talk with are grateful to have another animal as a companion even if they aren’t the same species. They are friends and keep each other company. They are also able to communicate with each other because animals don’t have the same limitations as humans.
Many people think that their pets don’t care for each other because they aren’t buddies. It’s a lot like your relationship with your siblings. You may not have grown up the best of friends and may have even fought with each other but when mom and dad left you alone in the house you sure were grateful to have them around even if they were in their own room not paying any attention to you.
